The third studio album by Swiss extreme metal band Celtic Frost, released in 1987. The album is vastly different from the band's previous work which cemented its late 1980s avant-garde metal term; it is also a departure from the style found on the band's previous albums. I recommend.

Celtic Frost was undeniably one of the most innovative and original Heavy Metal bands of all time. Their music was riff-heavy (to put it mildly) and visceral, striking a chord deep within the most primitive part of the human brain.

A truly great album. The rarest example is a bunch of experiments and not a single unsuccessful one! Far from being a virtuoso of guitar playing, Fischer manages to create very deep albums that you can listen to many times, and each time you discover (what a disgusting advertising phrase!) New advantages. The highlight of this disc is the highly artistic, theatrical tragic atmosphere, with a touch of medieval and gothic (the guys from SOPOR AETERNUS were obviously fond of this album). There are no weak things at all, unless the second version of One in their pride loads a little, one would be enough.
